Every other Monday evenings, a group of volunteers meet at fresh art to sew sock monkeys that are sold on the fresh art website, craft fairs and several NYC stores. The Brooklyn Fiber Arts Guild isa community of fiber crafters throughout the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Through paid membership, the Guild offers members access to classes and events such as stash swaps, an annual luncheon, and charity projects. The Guild also hosts an annual World Wide Knit in Public Day event to teach others about all needlecrafting.
